Roles in Fashion Marketing

We got set 2 more briefs today for our new seminar groups,
  1. To choose one brand which is expensive, mid-market and cheap value and analyse the factors that help define and differentiate the different sectors by using the 7p's, brand image/identity, target consumers and competitors to explain this.
  2. To create an insight into the UK high street marketing products by selecting mens trainers, mens jeans and ladies dresses in the three price ranges and analysing this the same way as in task 1.
I was really looking forward to being in a new team and being able to meet more people and create a really good first project together. 
We also went through the different types of careers that were involved in the fashion industry that we could possibly after our three years be able to go into. All the careers sounded really interesting and I learnt from the lecture that it really was important to have work experience in the industry during university to be able to stand out from the crowd and that all the jobs link together to allow the industry to work and be successful.
