After her 21st grand slam win at Wimbledon, you would have thought the press would be on this success as well as her holding all four major titles. However this wasn't the case. After her win a troll on Twitter suggested that Serena's victory was due to her masculine figure. This sexist comment isn't the first battle she has had to deal with and sadly without change, this won't be the last. But Serena is proving the body shamers wrong and hitting back at sexism within tennis in the cover and feature of New York Magazine.
I personally love that she is sticking up for herself and for others within the game as without the women at the top of their game trying to make change, nothing will happen. She looks beautiful in my eyes and I'm very jealous of the sheer strength she has both physically and mentally. No one should have to defend themselves on how they look, especially when this aspect hasn't got anything to do with their job.
