Sorapol London Fashion Week SS15

Whilst working at London Fashion Week for POP PR, one of my favourite shows I was not just able to work at but also watch was Sorapol's. The show was located at the Royal College of Surgeons in a spectacle of a room. I was able to work in the VIP lounge to make sure that they weren't let in to the show too early and to keep them all informed of the goings on, this was a hard job to stay professional when the England Rugby captain, Chris Robshaw, and Andy Jordan from Made in Chelsea walk in!

My next job was to make sure everything was running smoothly with the guests in the main room along with all the other interns and then we were lucky enough to watch the amazing show.

The show was a twist of French Renaissance and Contemporary African culture which was also represented in the colour palettes, with pastels and bold tribal patterns being used. The show had a slight separation in collections, the contemporary and the ball gowns, which I think was a good idea as both collections were slightly different. However this did make you slightly forget the earlier on garments as the gowns were so bold, impressive and memorable.
