11:00 amSo many brands and influencers around the world supported International Women's Day yesterday, to try and help in tackling such a key issue that shouldn't still be present in todays society. However it seems that it is going to take a lot more of us to make a difference and probably more time than we think. Unfortunately a Fairy Godmother can't wave her wand and magic change overnight. But with the wide support and brand names such as Adidas, the BBC and Barbie getting behind the movement, surely it can't be too long.

Why raise her as a Princess, when she can be a Warrior.
This was shown in the incredible, Imagine the Possibilities Campaign by Barbie back in 2015.The campaign has reached over 24Million views on Youtube alone and since the first release, Barbie have created a set of shorts showcasing young girls in real life careers. They're all super inspiring and showcase the message in a fun but hard hitting manner. The campaign 'didn't just advertise, but created an important conversation'* that needs to be had to inspire change.
