Friday 10th January 2014

Today was our last full day in the city so we tried to fit as much in as possible. We walked up to Times Square in search for some Broadway tickets however none were available at the times so we decided to spend the day shopping up 5th Avenue. We started in Guess where the three of us were offered jobs if we lived in the area which we were so tempted to take and just live in the city instead. We visited other stores such as Saks, Armani, Abercrombie, Tiffany, DKNY, Burberry, Barney's and the Apple Store. We also visited the Moma museum which had a free friday night so was very busy and didn't have a specific area that was related to fashion or photography so we weren't that impressed.
It was then starting to get a little dark so we thought we would go and see the ice skating in Central Park however it was empty and didn't have the atmosphere I thought that it would so instead we decided to try and find some tickets for a Broadway show. Luckily we got back to Times Square in time to find 3 tickets for Mamma Mia! The show was really good and definitely a good way to end the week. The show was finished around 11:30 and the shops outside were still open, so we had a look around and then decided to eat at Planet Hollywood which is similar to the Hard Rock Cafe but based around films. We didn't get back to the hotel til gone 1am and we still had to pack ready for leaving the day after.
