This year the Burberry advert has been highly awaited due to Romeo Beckham featuring. Yes, he is a Beckham and this could have over powered the advert, however I feel this isn't the case!
The Burberry Festive Film is inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals. It tells the tale of a young couple falling in love, against a theatrical backdrop of London. All these aspects truly represent the Burberry Brand as well as having a beautiful christmas story behind it. The music by Ed Harcourt also is majestic and fits to the adverts romantic feeling with ease.
I think my favourite part of the advert is how the styling is so simple but elegant, the use of the traditional trench coat and scarf, with the contrasting flowing ball gowns and tailored suits.
Burberry have vastly become a favourite brand of mine with the transformation of a chavy brand to a traditional luxury brand once again. They are ahead of the game with their interactive advertising and social events and as for their new collections they too are so elegant!
