Today we decided to venture out of the city towards the coast and visit some of the tourist sites, therefore taking our first subway trip which was made a nicer experience by the street dancers.
When we reached ground zero the view and the sheer quietness around the pools is a feeling I will always remember. Seeing the sheer amounts of names and the size of the towers really showed me just how big this devastating event really was.
After the visit we decided to go to Soho shops and stupidly decided to walk from 3rd street to 34th, (yes that would be 31 blocks) to go for dinner at an American diner near our hotel.
