#CremeEggHuntingSeason

9:00 pm

It might be Blue Monday, but why not cheer ourselves up by looking forward to the next holiday and our chance to eat as much chocolate as we wish whilst not being judged - Easter.
You might think it's too early to even be thinking about such a day, but not according to Cadburys. As soon as 2017 was in their sites Cadbury sent their Mini and Creme Eggs straight into shops. Not content with just this, last week saw the launch of the new Creme Egg Advert with the tagline -
 IT'S HUNTING SEASON.

The advert is accompanied with the relaunch of the The Cadbury Creme Egg Cafe, however it has been adapted to follow the advertising campaign with a lodge theme. 'The lodge will be open for a limited time only throughout January and February, offering an immersive café-style experience serving a range of Creme Egg inspired treats, including Creme Black Forest toasties.'* However it's not just the unique recipes you can experience. You can also 'put your Hunter skills to the test in The Ultimate Egg Hunt, deep inside the Creme Egg Hunting HQ room,' where you have to 'solve the clues and crack the safe.' **

Another adaptation is that the Lodge will be touring around the country rather than just being a pop-up cafe in London. It will 'debut on the 27 January at the London Eye before making its way to Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh.'* To add to this 'all proceeds generated at the lodge will be donated to the Prince's Trust Charity'* which creates an even better atmosphere and therefore a better connection with the brand - especially after the debacle of the the recipe changing last year.

The integrated campaign is fun and playful, whilst also being able to to interact with customers as to how they get their eggs. However if you want to get involved and take a trip to the lodge, you will have to hope that you can get hold of some of the limited walk-in tickets as each locations pre-booked tickets are all sold out! If you're not lucky enough to get a ticket you will still be able to get your hands on part of the experience by visiting the 'takeaway area [which] will offer Creme Egg S’mores to-go.'* Who can say no to that?
